Hello, my name is Allie. Wow, this account has been open for 11 years. Those 11 years have probably held some of the hardest years of my life. I entered and exited the military, dealt with trauma and health issues, and it all inspired me to create a Twitch stream called Hobbies for Happiness. Its a miniature painting stream that explores how hobbying can benefit those who deal with struggles ranging from every day stress, to more serious and debilitating mental health disorders. I leave this page open as a reminder to you to never give up your dreams (with regard to art, writing, music, what have you) because it may be the only thing saving you one day.

I never realized how much work working in a Studio setting could be. I have a theme which includes drawing characters from music or poetry that I write or I listen to. We have a schedual to follow to get ready for a show this December. It's actually getting stressful sometimes, because I have so much work to do. I used to be able to make art at my leisure, and now I can't. I am not saying that's a bad thing, however, it gets hard to find inspiration and execute a piece the way I want to because we have to work at such a fast pace. So, summer has been alright thus far, however, I have the challenge of filling up a sketchbook with random sketches before the school year begins. Plus starting the 20 or 30-some projects that have to be done by the end of the school year. I have to broaden my horizons. :/ It's hard, isn't it? I mean, once someone sticks to a style, it's hard to stray from it. Right? Inspiration is the hardest to find, especially when people aren't around much. How does one stray from a lifetime of Routine, routine, routine and create somthing fresh and new?? Somthing that others will like?? Gah! Perhaps I should sit on a train everyday and draw random people

Has been hell....
I try to wake up in the morning with a posative attitude and when I don't I try to put it into my music and my art..
It's not working. I am, I guess, Not proud of what I have done, achievement-wise. I mean. I haven't shown any extravagant work... and I am not known for much... I hate that. I don't want popularity, but I guess I want to be noticed for what I have done. I put my all into my artworks and music and still I get nowhere.... There should be a diagnoses of art-depression 'cause I am going through it right now. I need some ideas. I need to start a project that I can put my heart and soul in... Thoughts? Y
